about the position:
The person who fills the junior bookkeeper position is assigned to specific clients to handle their bookkeeping work. For some clients this is just simply monthly data entry into QuickBooks including all debits and credits and reconciling all relevant accounts. For some clients, this means larger “retroactive” projects which entail going back and completing several months, to several years, of bookkeeping. For others this means taking on a “full charge bookkeeping” role managing payables, receivables, and cashflow.
For each client and project assignment internal project management systems must be updated and the position requires the candidate to keep in direct contact with company principal regarding progress, problems, and work flow.

ABOUT OUR HIRING PROCESS
All resumes will be reviewed and candidates will be contacted for a brief phone interview. Second interviews will be held in person and full background checks will be completed. Final candidates will be invited to work on a per diem basis for 1-2 weeks to make sure skill and personality set are a fit for our office. Signing a confidentiality and non-compete agreement are required prior to hiring.
